Sri. Sadanam K. Harikumaran is a known sculptor and painter. He has had serious exposure to the possibilities of sculpture and portraits when he was Professor of Kathakali at Santiniketan Viswabharathi (established by Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore). He has conducted a number of single and group exhibitions including one with the financial assistance of Kerala Lalith Kala Academy. A number of sculptures made in terracotta have been preserved in the art gallery of Gandhi Seva Sadanam auditorium. His famous installation, "Salabhanjikas" (which has got statues of 40 lantern-bearing maidens) adorn the Sadanam auditorium. |
